Thai Kratom: What You Should Know About Thai Kratom

kratom benefits

Thailand is known for a lot of things, including its vibrant culture and extraordinary food, but lately, it’s also becoming more and more popular for another reason – kratom; although nowadays, it’s been more common to see Thai kratom being grown in Indonesia and surrounding areas rather than on Thai soil.

One of the reasons why it’s a strain of choice for many is that Thai kratom is one of the most potent kratom varieties out there. However, before taking it, there are quite a few things you should learn about it to assess which product will be the best choice for what you’re looking for in kratom.

Thai Kratom – The Varieties

There are three main types of Thai kratom, all of which will have slightly different effects on the person taking it – White-vein Thai kratom, Green-vein Thai kratom and Red-vein Thai kratom. Take a look at some of the main properties of each of them below.

MAIN PROPERTIES
WHITE THAI KRATOMRED THAI KRATOMGREEN THAI KRATOM

Significant productivity boostSignificant productivity boostHelp in regulating sleep cycle

White Thai kratom is mostly associated with stimulation – it heightens your focus and makes you feel more energized. Red Thai kratom, on the other hand, is the complete opposite – its main function is to help you relax and is often used by those who have irregular sleep patterns to help them achieve a more regular sleep schedule. Finally, the Green-vein Thai kratom is a combination of both – it increases your productivity, but at the same time, it helps you calm down your mind.

You might also encounter Yellow Thai kratom, although it is not as common as other Thai kratom varieties. Its effects lay somewhere between green and red kratom.

Which one will be the best one for you depends on what you’re taking kratom for. For example, if you’re looking for a strain that will provide you with a significant energy and productivity boost to get you through the day, then White Thai kratom will be the best choice. On the other hand, if you’re after something that will help you with sleep issues and allow you to unwind after a stressful day, then Green Thai kratom will be a better option.

Who Is Thai Kratom Suitable for?

As we already mentioned, Thai kratom is potent, which means that it wouldn’t be a good choice for beginners – it would simply be too strong for them. However, if you already have some experience using kratom and are looking for something that would help you focus or relax, then it’s a perfectly suitable option for you.

What Is the Ideal Thai Kratom Dosage?

There’s not one answer to that, as it depends on a specific individual. There are a number of factors that influence how a person will react to kratom, which is why even if two people take the same amount of it, they can still react very differently to it.

The rule of thumb is that you should consume about 0.025 g of kratom for every pound of your body weight – however, no more than 15 g. So, in order to get similar results, a person weighing 150 pounds would need a dose of about 3.75 g, while a person weighing 400 pounds would need 10 g.

Keep in mind, however, that Thai kratom is a pretty potent strain, which is why it’s better to start with smaller doses and only then make your way up to higher ones. You never know how your body will react, and you might turn out to be more sensitive to kratom than you thought, needing less than the recommended dose for the same effects.

The same goes for the form in which you’ll consume Thai kratom – some forms, like kratom powder, are less potent than others, such as kratom extract.

What Is the Association Between Thai Kratom and Maeng Da Kratom?

Just like Thai kratom, Maeng Da originates from Thailand, therefore, technically, it can be called Thai kratom too due to its origin which is probably where the confusion between the two came from.

However, there are a few differences between them. For example, while both White Thai kratom and White Maeng Da kratom provide the user with energizing effects, Maeng Da strain is slightly more powerful.

What Is Thai Kratom – The Bottom Line

Thai kratom is a kratom variation that is becoming more and more popular among kratom enjoyers. Originating from Thailand, today it’s more commonly grown in other parts of Southeast Asia.
